HR Shared Services Lead

My client, a leading distribution business, is seeking a HR Shared Services Lead to oversee a busy team of Shared Service colleagues in order to ensure that a comprehensive, flexible and efficient end to end HR administration service is delivered to the business and its employee base.

This role will include:
• Manage annual pay review and bonus process
• Manage the day to day running of the people administration team, ensuring adherence to SLAs
• Use data and metrics to track day to day performance and use data to drive continuous improvement
• Lead the annual flexible benefits process
• Ensure compliance to regulatory rules such as GDPR
• Continuously monitor and review HR policies and processes and implement changes to align with best practices
• Support in the implementation of new HRIS systems as required
• Build capability across the People Services team

To be considered for this role you will:

• Have previous experience managing a fast paced central HR team
• Have thorough understanding of HR processes and procedures
• Have up to date, working knowledge of current UK employment law
• Be unafraid to challenge practice / process and people to ensure efficiency and continuous improvement
• Have strong planning and time management skills - able to balance priorities in a dynamic environment
• Be able to work on own initiative whilst balancing the need to involve others for maximum effectiveness
