A respected secondary school in Weymouth is looking to appoint a committed Maths Teacher to join their thriving department. This full‑time position is suitable for both experienced teachers and enthusiastic ECTs looking to complete their induction in a supportive and collaborative environment.

The Role

Deliver engaging Maths lessons across KS3 and KS4
Plan and adapt lessons to meet the needs of learners of all abilities
Support students in developing strong numeracy and problem‑solving skills
Work closely with a successful and forward‑thinking Maths department
Contribute to CPD, whole‑school initiatives, and extracurricular activities

Role Details

Location: Weymouth, Dorset
Start Date: May 2026
Contract: Full‑time | Permanent or long‑term
Salary: Paid to scale (MPS/UPS)

The Ideal Candidate

Holds UK QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Has experience teaching Maths up to GCSE level
Demonstrates strong subject knowledge and effective classroom practice
Is committed to supporting students to achieve their full potential
