Primary SEND Teaching Assistant (Phonics Assistance)

Salary: £65 - £96 per day

Job Type: Full time - Temporary

Monarch Education is working with a Primary School in Coventry to recruit for a 1:1 Teaching Assistant to work with year 6 students supporting with Phonics on a full time basis starting in September for the full academic year.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm

Key Responsibilities

  • 1:1 Support for students in their final year of KS2 in the classroom during activities
  • Supporting with Phonics development

Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children and young people with additional needs
  • Calm, nurturing and patient approach
  • Have Phonics knowledge or training
  • Be versatile and resilient in varying situations
  • Have knowledge/experience of ASD is beneficial
