My client is looking for a Design Engineer to join them on a permanent basis due to growth in the company.Design Engineer – Key responsibilities:

• Produce Bill of materials and 2D Technical drawings
• Interpret schematic drawings
• Competent in basic force / moments and weight calculations
• Ability to modify 3D CAD designs and to solve technical problems  

Design Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

• Holds a HNC / HND or an Apprenticeship in Mechanical Engineering or similar
• Experienced in Design Engineering, particularly with designing pressure vessels and HGV Vehicle design
• Proficient in AutoCAD or similar
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Experience working on Engineering based projects
