Forza Talent are working on a unique and commercial development opportunity for an up-and-coming accountant that will see you partnering with one of the crucial areas of the business. Supporting the Finance Manager and Financial Controller, the role encompasses a mix of commercial accounting with key monthly reporting making for a varied and highly visible role across the business.

Essentially you will be supporting the team and stakeholders throughout the business with high quality reporting, analysis and key insight to help drive business performance.

The role will involve the following monthly tasks:

• Assisting with the preparation of divisional management accounts
• Help co-ordinate the production of daily/weekly/monthly KPIs and reporting packs
• Journals, fixed asset and depreciation
• Balance sheet reconciliation
• Support FM / FC with producing key insight, analysis and narrative against the business KPI`s to help performance and identify opportunities
• Work alongside the commercial & operational teams on business opportunities
• Help implement new ways of working across all business functions
• Manage key financial data and subsequent systems
• Support the implementation and maintenance of processes and procedure controls
• Working with the data team to help streamline data sources and reporting

You will be AAT qualified or a Part Qualified (ACCA/CIMA) accountant with a good understanding of general ledger work having worked your way through the finance team in previous roles. A good working knowledge of excel for reporting and analysing data is required and you will already be able to demonstrate experience of working towards month end management accounts in some capacity.
