Transport Planner - £35,000 to £40,000 per annumCheadle | Mon-Fri + 1 in 4 Sundays | 08:00-18:00

Are you a highly organised and proactive individual with experience in transport planning? Due to recent expansion, we’re looking for a reliable Transport Planner to join our busy logistics team and help ensure the smooth and efficient running of our daily operations.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Planning and scheduling driver routes efficiently and cost-effectively

• Handling incoming calls and resolving delivery queries

• Providing clear communication and support to drivers throughout the day

• Conducting driver debriefs upon return to depot

• Working closely with the transport and warehouse teams to maintain service levels

Shift Pattern:

• Monday to Friday, 08:00-18:00

• 1 in 4 Sundays (approx 2-3 hours)

What We’re Looking For:

• Previous experience in a transport planning or logistics role

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal

• Confident handling calls, resolving issues, and managing driver relationships

• A calm and solution-focused approach in a fast-paced environment

• Knowledge of transport compliance and routing software is a plus
