Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £21,285 per annum, pro rata

20 hours per week About the role We are now looking to recruit a Scheme Manager to assist in the day to day running of the Hawthorn Mill Sheltered Housing Scheme.
Providing an effective, efficient and sensitive housing related support service to people aged 55 and over to maintain independent living, your duties will include; making daily contact with tenants to check on their well-being, proving support to those who are unwell or require support in accessing services, enabling clients to remain in their own homes as independently as possible.
In addition, you will encourage tenant liaison and participation in the activities of Hawthorn Mill and be responsible for completing health and safety and compliance testing, raising and monitoring repairs issues and providing help and support with financial issues such as rent accounts and benefits.
About you You will have experience with older people/sheltered housing tenants or working with community based agencies.
Able to work on your own initiative, manage your time and prioritise your workload, you will ideally have experience of housing management or knowledge of housing association practices.
Previous experience or understanding of health and safety/compliance issues, welfare rights benefits, finances and rent accounts would be advantageous.
