Air Conditioning Service Engineer

£40k-£45k plus package

My client are seeking a skilled and dedicated Air Conditioning Engineer to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, fault-finding and repairing air conditioning systems across various sites. This role requires a strong mechanical knowledge, with excellent communication and customer service skills. The ideal applicant will have experience in equipment repair & maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency of all air conditioning units.

Duties

* Service and repair a wide range of air conditioning systems in commercial and industrial settings

* Conduct routine maintenance to ensure systems operate efficiently and reliably

* Troubleshoot issues and diagnose faults accurately and independently

* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations during all operations, including the handling of refrigerants.

* Assist in the planning and execution of projects involving HVAC systems

* Maintain detailed records of service activities, repairs, and inspections for compliance purposes

Qualifications

* Proven experience in air conditioning installation, maintenance, and repair

* Strong knowledge of HVAC systems

* Experience in equipment repair within a variety of environments is necessary.

* Knowledge of health and safety standards related to HVAC work environments

* FGAS certification required, with an interest in developing skills as required.

* Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail

* Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
