We are seeking a reliable and proactive Maintenance Operative to join our team at a student accommodation site. This role is essential in ensuring the property remains safe, secure, and well-maintained for all residents.

Key Responsibilities

Caretaking Duties: Locking and unlocking the building, ensuring security procedures are followed.
General Maintenance: Changing lightbulbs, fixing minor leaks, and carrying out basic repairs.
Damage Repairs: Responding promptly to reports of damage and performing minor fixes.
Health & Safety: Ensuring communal areas are safe and reporting any hazards.
Customer Service: Providing friendly and professional assistance to residents when needed.

Requirements

Previous experience in a maintenance or caretaking role is desirable.
Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrics, and general repairs.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
