School Business Manager

Location: Bristol

Salary: £48,474 - £51,515 Per Annum

Contract Type: Permanent

Start Date: ASAP

M&M Supply are currently working with a great Special Educational Needs school in the Bristol area, who are seeking a new Business Manager to join a highly inclusive, flexible team.

The school is a specialised SEND provision, who provide education for children between the ages of 4 and 19.

The students within the school, have a variety of needs including EHCP's, Autism Diagnosis, profound learning difficulties and others.

The Role:

* Working as part of the Senior Leadership Team (SLT), to assist the Headteacher in his/her duty to ensure that the school meets its educational aims.

* Responsible for providing professional leadership and management of administrative staff in partnership with class-based practitioners, to enhance their effectiveness in order to achieve improved standards of learning and achievement in the school.

* Promoting the highest standards of business ethos within the administrative function of the school and strategically ensures the most effective use of resources in support of the school's learning objectives.

* Responsible for the Financial Resource Management, Administration, Management, Management Information and ICT, Human Resource Management, Facility & Property Management, Health & Safety Management of the School.

Requirements:

* School Business Management Qualification

* Degree Educated - Ideally in accountancy, business management or a related discipline

* Successful leadership and management experience in a school, or in a relevant field outside education

* Involvement in school self-evaluation and improvement planning

* Knowledge of financial and HR management

* Previous experience of working with children or young people
