Join a Leading Design Team as an Engineering Design Draughtsperson!

Zenith People is proud to partner with a forward-thinking client in their search for a talented and experienced Engineering Design Draughtsperson to join their dynamic team on a permanent basis. As a key player in the design process, you’ll be responsible for:

• Creating high-quality, detailed arrangement drawings for client approval
• Collaborating with third-party stakeholders to develop and refine design concepts
• Working with 2D AutoCAD (version 2020) to bring ideas to life
• Attending design and progress meetings both on-site and virtually (Teams/Zoom)
• Participating in internal handover, progress, and contract review sessions
• Coordinating with production, procurement, and site-based teams to ensure seamless execution
• Managing RFIs, variations, and other project-related documentation
• Integrating structural data from our in-house Structural Engineer into your designs
• Tracking project milestones and preparing progress reports aligned with contract timelines
• Handling technical documentation and project-specific admin tasks
• Collaborating with a team of draughtspersons on multi-million-pound projects

The Person we are looking for

• Proven experience as a 2D &/or 3D Design Draughtsperson in a fast-paced, project-driven Engineering environment
• Strong communication and coordination skills
• A proactive mindset and ability to thrive in a collaborative team setting
