Production Supervisor

Permanent position

We have an exciting position for a dynamic and positive Production Supervisor for our client based in Wednesbury, this is a key role in coordinating work flows, managing teams performances and driving continuous improvement

£32k to £35k depending on experience

Working in the Manufacturing and Production industry

Days Monday to Thursday 7.30am to 4pm and Friday 7.30am to 1pm Key Responsibilities of the Production Supervisor

Lead and supervise production teams to meet daily and weekly production goals
Ensure that all shift schedules, task assignments and team workloads are balanced to meet production requirements
Visual Planning, maintain production records and SQCDP reporting
Run production meetings
Oversee the production process
Enforce adherence to quality and heath and safety standards
Identify opportunities for process improvement and continuous improvement - cost saving and waste reduction Qualifications and Experience required for the Production Supervisor

Strong leadership and team management skills
Solid understanding of production processes, quality control and safety regulations
Proficient with production management software and ERP systems (eg SAP or Oracle)
Knowledge of lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies (eg Six Sigma)5S' or other process improvement methodologies
Certification in manufacturing or production management (six sigma green belt, APICS CPIM)Detail of the Production Supervisor
