Day-to-day of the role:
  • Work primarily across Key Stage 2, leading and covering whole class teaching.
  • Be part of a school community where children are enthusiastic about learning, staff are committed to excellence, and high expectations are matched with high levels of support.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families.
  • Support teaching and learning with a proactive, flexible, and enthusiastic approach.
  • Uphold a strong commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • HLTA qualification.
  • Proven experience of leading and covering whole class teaching.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and the National Curriculum.
  • A track record of raising standards, particularly in challenging environments.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
  • Adaptability, resilience, and a can-do attitude.
