CLASS 2 MOFFETT DRIVER - PERMANENT ROLE

Shift: Monday to Friday with overtime available

People Solutions are currently recruiting for a permanent Class 2 Moffett Driver to join our well-established client based in Uddingston. This is a fantastic opportunity offering great rates of pay, stability, and room to grow and progress within the business.

Day-to-Day Duties:

Your duties as a Class 2 Moffett Driver will involve, but not be limited to:

Safely operate HGV Class 2 vehicles with rear-mounted Moffett forklifts to deliver and collect goods across customer sites

Supervise safe and efficient loading/unloading using the Moffett

Liaise with site managers and customers to confirm delivery arrangements, access requirements, and any safety protocols

Navigate varied customer sites safely and professionally in line with site-specific safety rules

Carry out daily vehicle and equipment checks to ensure compliance and safety standards are met

Follow all transport regulations, company procedures, and health & safety policies

Represent the company with professionalism, delivering excellent service to customers and internal teams

Essential Skills:

A valid LGV Class 2 Licence

In-date Driver CPC Qualification (with at least one CPC training day completed per year since obtaining the card)

In-date Digi Tacho Card

Valid Moffett (Truck Mounted Forklift) licence - previous Moffett operating experience is essential

Good working knowledge of EU driving hours regulations and tachograph rules

Experience of construction or industrial site deliveries is highly desirable

A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently and adapt to varying site conditions

Strong communication and customer service skills

Training:
Any required training will be provided on your first day, with ongoing support throughout your employment.
