Are you a qualified Town Planner with a passion for high-quality, sustainable design and planning? We are working in partnership with a well-established, design-led multidisciplinary studio to recruit a Town Planner to join their growing team in Oxford.

This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive planning professional to play a key role in shaping innovative developments across the South of England. You'll work closely with architects, urban designers, and developers on a diverse mix of residential, mixed-use, and regeneration projects.

The Role

As the newest member of the planning team, you'll:

  • Prepare, submit, and manage planning applications and appeals across a broad range of sectors.
  • Engage directly with clients, local authorities, and design teams.
  • Contribute to strategic site appraisals and pre-application submissions.
  • Help develop design-led, sustainable planning solutions.
  • Stay ahead of planning policy developments and local plan updates.

About You

You'll ideally be:

  • MRTPI qualified (or working towards it).
  • Experienced in development management or consultancy (2+ years preferred).
  • Confident, collaborative, and client-focused.
  • Passionate about architecture, design, and place-making.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple projects.
