Job Title: Construction Tutor

Salary: £130 - £190 per day (Depending on experience)

GSL Education are seeking to appoint a Construction Tutor for a Pupil Referral Unit (PRU) in Nottingham. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to make a meaningful impact by sharing their expertise in a supportive and inclusive educational setting.

Key Responsibilities of the Construction Tutor:

Deliver engaging and practical lessons in construction and building trades.
Support students with special education needs.
Teach both theoretical knowledge and hands-on skills aligned with vocational standards.
Ensure a safe and well-maintained workshop environment for student learning.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback and support.
Work collaboratively with staff to develop resources and promote career pathways in construction.
Requirements for Construction Tutor:

A recognised teaching qualification or substantial industry experience in construction.
Strong knowledge of building techniques, site safety, and vocational standards.
Excellent communication, organisation, and behaviour management skills.
A genuine passion for teaching and inspiring students in alternative education settings.
An up-to-date CV (covering the last ten years with no unexplained gaps) and an enhanced DBS registered to the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one).
