Credit Controller – Temp to Perm

About the Role

I am supporting a team in Crystal Palace in their search for a Credit Controller to join their finance team on a temp-to-perm basis. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, taking ownership of the ledger, and contributing to a fast-paced, supportive team.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing and maintaining the sales ledger
• Chasing outstanding invoices via phone and email
• Setting up new customer accounts and performing credit checks
• Allocating payments and reconciling accounts
• Investigating and resolving invoice queries
• Producing aged debt reports for management
• Working closely with internal teams to improve cashflow
• Supporting month-end finance processes where needed

Skills & Experience Required

• Previous experience in credit control (essential)
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Confident managing difficult conversations professionally
• Good Excel skills (VLOOKUPs and pivot tables an advantage)
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
