A welcoming mainstream primary school in Blackburn is seeking an experienced EYFS Teacher to join their Reception team on a temporary-to-permanent basis. The school is looking for an EYFS specialist who can create a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally rich environment for early learners.

What the role involves

Leading a Reception class with a strong understanding of early childhood development

Planning and delivering high‑quality EYFS curriculum lessons

Creating a warm, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment

Supporting children's early phonics, communication, and social development

Working collaboratively with a supportive staff team and parents

What the school is looking for

QTS with proven EYFS experience

Strong knowledge of early years pedagogy and child‑centred learning

A nurturing, enthusiastic approach to teaching

Commitment to helping children thrive during their first year of school
