Location: Westminster, SW1E (commutable from Hounslow, Ealing, Acton, Chiswick, Brentford, and Hammersmith)
Daily Pay: £100 - £120
Start Date: September 2025
Contract Type: Full-time, long-term

The school is seeking a compassionate and proactive Pastoral Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an individual who is passionate about student wellbeing, behaviour management, and helping young people thrive both academically and personally.

About the Role

As a Pastoral Assistant, you will play a key role in supporting the emotional, social, and behavioural needs of students across Key Stages 3 and 4. Your responsibilities will include:

Providing day-to-day pastoral care and guidance to students
Supporting behaviour management strategies and fostering positive behaviour
Building strong relationships with pupils to help them engage positively in school life
Working closely with Heads of Year, SEN staff, and external agencies
Helping to monitor and support attendance, punctuality, and wellbeing
Assisting with interventions and small group work focusing on social and emotional developmentThis is an ideal role for someone with experience as a Pastoral Assistant, Teaching Assistant, Behaviour Mentor, or anyone with a background in youth work or education support who is looking to take on a pastoral-focused position.
