Social Media Manager

RME Consultants are thrilled to be recruiting on behalf of one of our fantastic clients based in South Birmingham, who are looking for a talented Social Media Manager to join their growing team.

This exciting role will see you take the lead on all things social media — planning, creating, and delivering high-impact content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X, YouTube and more. You'll be responsible for developing creative campaigns, driving engagement, and ensuring the brand's digital presence is strong, engaging, and consistent.

Role Responsibilities:

Create and manage a dynamic multi-platform content calendar.

Write engaging, brand-aligned copy for social media posts and campaigns.

*

Plan and support paid social campaigns with agency partners.

*

Grow and manage the brand's YouTube presence and video content strategy.

*

Oversee and update local store profiles to enhance online visibility.

*

Monitor social trends and competitor activity to keep strategies fresh and relevant.

*

Engage with the online community, managing comments and direct messages.

*

Report on social media performance, using insights to refine strategies.

Key Skills Needed:

*

2+ years' experience in a social media or digital marketing role, ideally within e-commerce.

*

Excellent content creation, storytelling, and copywriting abilities.

*

Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.

*

Confident using digital tools like Google Analytics, Meta Business Suite, and scheduling platforms.

*

Creative, collaborative, and proactive approach to social media growth.
