Salary: £24000 - £30000/annum pension and free annual skip

Hours for position 1 (Claydon office) : 40 hours per week - 8:30am and 5pm. Every other Saturday morning paid overtime

Hours for position 2 (Debtrac office) : 40 hours per week (shift work between 7:30am and 5pm

To be a point of contact in the delivery of excellent customer service at the Claydon on reception and weighbridge, dealing with hauliers, customers and our operations team.

Deal with new and existing enquiries on the telephone, email and live chat.

Work with the commercial team in organising efficient third party haulage for collections and deliveries.


· Portraying a positive image of the company in a professional manner at all times

· Be a front of house representative serving customers, drivers and contractors upon arrival and when leaving

· Dealing with customer queries in a timely manner. This includes telephone, face to face, email communications or live chat

· Weighing customers in and out of the yard

· Making accurate payments and ID checks

· Organising transport for collections and deliveries

· Managing general weighbridge admin work

· Liaising with the operators in the yard on deliveries and traffic flow

· Answering new enquiries and general phone calls

· Any other adhoc duties



Minimum 5 years customer service experience.


Weighbridge and recycling industry experience, but not essential.


· Excellent communication and people skills.

· Attention to detail.

· Ability to think on your feet and multitask.


· Enthusiastic with a positive can-do attitude

· Organised and thorough in approach to tasks

· Articulate with excellent written and spoken English

· Ability to work using own initiative with minimal supervision
