Sous Chef - £32,000 - Westerham + Bonus
Based in a quiet countryside setting, with picturesque surroundings, this golf clubs situated in Westerham is looking to recruit an experienced Sous Chef who enjoys cooking fresh food and will take responsibility for elements of the kitchen including preparation, cooking, and presentation of food to agreed standards.
The restaurant boasts a superb choice of fresh, locally sourced dishes served daily.
Key Information:
* Salary: £32,000 + bonus
* Hours: 5/7 days on mixed shifts
* Location: Westerham
Sous Chef responsibilities:
* Supporting the Head chef with writing menus and developing a brigade
* Ensuring food safety and health and hygiene
* Develop and train the junior members of the team
* Understand aspects of P&L and budgeting
* Support the Head Chef in maintaining, ordering, and controlling food stocks within a budget
* To ensure food preparation and control meets requirements in respect to the set standards
Sous Chef requirements:
* Experience at Sous Chef Level
* Qualified to NVQ Level 1, 2 and 3 or Equivalent
* Passionate about food
* Enthusiastic attitude and willingness to take operation to the next level
