About the Role:

You will be responsible for delivering creative, individualised learning to a small group of primary-aged pupils in a nurturing and structured environment. You'll work closely with a dedicated team of teaching assistants, therapists, and behaviour specialists to support each child's academic progress and emotional wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and deliver differentiated lessons tailored to SEMH learners
  • Build trusting, positive relationships with pupils who may have complex emotional needs
  • Create a safe, structured classroom environment that promotes stability and engagement
  • Work collaboratively with support staff and external agencies
  • Develop and implement personalised education and behaviour support plans
  • Monitor progress and adapt strategies to meet individual needsSupport the development of pupils' social, communication, and life skills
  • Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare
What We're Looking For :
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Child DBS on the update service.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
  • Experience working with children with SEMH needs (essential)
  • A calm, patient, and trauma-informed approach to teaching
  • Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills
  • A passion for inclusive education and commitment to supporting vulnerable learners
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
