Contracts Manager

Location: North East (NE42 area)
Salary: Up to £60,000 + Company Car

We are working with a well-established and growing organisation within the construction sector who are looking to appoint a Contracts Manager to join their team on a permanent basis.

The Role

You will be responsible for overseeing multiple construction projects from pre-start through to completion, ensuring delivery is achieved safely, on time, and within budget. This is a hands-on role requiring strong coordination, communication, and compliance knowledge across site operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee construction contracts across multiple sites

Ensure projects are delivered in line with programme, budget, and quality standards

Maintain full compliance with CDM Regulations 2015 and wider health & safety legislation

Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure smooth project delivery

Conduct site visits, progress reviews, and risk assessments

Support continuous improvement in operational and safety performance

Requirements

Previous experience as a Contracts Manager or similar role within construction (minimum 1-2 years)

Strong working knowledge of CDM (Construction Design and Management) Regulations 2015

Excellent organisational and stakeholder management skills

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Full UK driving licence
