About the Role
We are currently recruiting a qualified Maths Teacher to work in secondary schools across Cambridge. This role is being offered through Outreach Staffing Solutions and provides opportunities for long-term placements, short-term cover, and flexible work depending on your availability.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective mathematics lessons to students across Key Stages 3 and 4, with the potential for Key Stage 5 depending on experience.
This is an excellent opportunity for experienced Math teachers, ECTs, or teachers seeking flexible agency work within supportive secondary school environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver high-quality Maths lessons in line with the national curriculum.
- Teach students across KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable but not essential).
- Maintain strong classroom management and behaviour standards.
- Assess, monitor, and record student progress.
- Adapt lessons to meet the needs of different abilities and learning styles.
- Work collaboratively with school staff and department teams.
Requirements
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognised teaching qualification.
- Experience teaching Mathematics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong subject knowledge and a passion for mathematics education.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to adapt quickly to different school environments.
