Netball Development Community Coach - Will to Win - West London Full time | £22,000 - £24,000 per annum Will to Win Ltd is the leading and largest private provider of public tennis in the UK, developing and managing facilities and programmes for the benefit of tennis and the local community at many venues across London – with over 100 courts and 50 coaches. In the last few years, we have expanded our operation into football and netball, attracting many junior and adult players to the game. Netball is one of our key growth areas and we are delighted to be working together with England Netball to increase participation in this sport. These are exciting times for Netball in England as the national team are currently ranked No.3 in the World. With growing membership, weekly participation and regular television coverage we are seeking to appoint a Netball Development Community Coach who is a high achiever and has the will to succeed in helping us provide a netball playing opportunity for all. This is an exciting new role at Will to Win in partnership with England Netball, which will involve setting up our community netball programmes for juniors and adults at our floodlit Sports Centres in Hyde and Regents Parks. The successful candidate will also be responsible for developing, marketing and coaching the established Back to Netball and Junior Netball Programmes at our West London sites whilst introducing new programmes such as Walking Netball. The job will involve 1 day a week at each of the 5 sites, spending approximately 50% of time off court and 50% on court coaching. Early evening work (minimum of 2-3 evenings per week) will feature delivering after school programmes and Back to Netball/Walking Netball sessions. The job holder will also attend England Netball training to receive CPD (approx. 4-5 days pa). We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to be part of our growing netball community. Experience and an understanding of coaching in the returner domain are essential, as is a UKCC Level 2 qualification and prior attendance on the Walking Netball Host Training is desirable.
