Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver
Location: B11, Birmingham
Salary: £14.50 per hour
Start Time: 6:00 AM (until finish)
About the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a reliable and hardworking HGV Class 2 Driver to join a busy cash and carry operation based in the B11 area. This role involves delivering goods to local shops and businesses, ensuring timely and professional service at all times.
Key Responsibilities- Completing 5-8 deliveries per day, including both local and long-distance routes
- Handling palletised goods using an automatic pump truck
- Carrying out cage deliveries where required
- Ensuring all deliveries are completed accurately and efficiently
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery points
- Completing all relevant paperwork and adhering to compliance procedures
Requirements- Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence
- Valid CPC and Digital Tachograph card
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience preferred
- Comfortable with manual handling
- Good knowledge of UK road networks
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
