We are currently recruiting for a NEW BUSINESS TELESALES EXECUTIVE to join a hugely successful market leading International Road Transport / Logistics team in our clients CLAYTON LE MOORS office.
Due to continued growth and investment our client is now recruiting for a Telesales Executive / Internal Sales , who will be responsible for winning new business and selling EXPRESS PARCEL and FREIGHT services to potential new clients and lapsed customers.
Typically 70% lapsed / 30% New Business
They are looking for enthusiastic, innovative and motivated individuals with a real passion for sales that will go the extra mile to understand the need of each and every one of their customers and offer a tailored account manager service adding real value to their business and offering unrivalled accountability in the industry.
To apply for this role you MUST have a sales background within TRANSPORT and/or LOGISTICS, preferably EXPRESS PARCELS, PALLETS etc.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
Generate new prospect leads and new accounts over the telephone and face-to-face.- Cold Calling
Role will involve telesales, (B2B), Negotiations and Presentations
Achieve Sales productivity and revenue targets
Provide a high level of internal and external customer care.
Provide customers with accurate and cost effective quotations.
Prepare weekly/monthly figures of sales activity as instructed by the Sales Manager
Key Skills and Experience:
Experience working in a proactive telesales or cold calling sales role with Outbound telesales experience being essential
Experience of generating own sales leads
Experience of working to targets and KPI's
Strong administration and organisation skills
Ability to influence others
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Influencing and negotiating
Stakeholder management
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage conflicting priorities
You will be smart, presentable and confident meeting and presenting to potential customers
