Advantage Resourcing are working in partnership with a leading Aerospace organisation looking for a Manufacturing Engineer, Ideally from an aviation background. Our client will also consider candidates from a similar industry background or large manufacturing organisations

Job Specification

• Achieve project objectives (time, scope, cost, quality) to customer satisfaction in compliance with internal and external rules and regulations.
• Define, implement and drive a project team/organization all along the project phases, including people coming from other functions (matrix organizations). Ensure effective integration of lessons learnt.
• Ensure active risk and opportunity and contract (internal or external) management.
• Ensure effective management of partners and suppliers

Tasks & Accountabilities:
The successful applicant will have the autonomy to develop and deliver new projects on behalf of the manufacturing team.

• To support and lead H&S improvement projects
• To work as part of an MFT in delivering these projects in line with agreed timescales
• Project management - weekly updates required and any risk to plan to be highlighted

Required Skills:
As the successful candidate, you must be able to demonstrate the following:

• Technical background in manufacturing engineering, background knowledge in drilling will be desirable.
• Strong team player
• Competent in lineside support role
• Previous (Widebody) experience desirable
