Personnel Selection are working with this fantastic business, who are currently recruiting for a Service Engineer to join their expanding workforce.

My client is a privately owned engineering SME based in Wiltshire, with clients all over the globe - some of whom are still customer after over 3 decades! They are a profitable, innovative business and have secured exciting long-term contracts with some extremely well-known companies. The business is recognised within the industry for their fantastic product quality and pioneering engineering techniques.

What does the role involve?

You will be responsible for supporting quality assurance and engineering documentation across MOD and customer projects. You will liaise between technical, procurement, and production departments to ensure compliance, traceability, and continuous improvement. The role requires a proactive approach to audits, documentation control, and customer support.

Are you the right person for this role?

It will suit a detail-oriented individual with a strong engineering background and an interest in quality systems and customer assurance.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of engineering principles and be confident working with technical documentation, component traceability, and audit preparation. Experience with ISO 9001, VCA, and MOD documentation standards is highly desirable.

All candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills. Travel may be required for audits and customer visits.

A full clean driving licence is advantageous.

Additional specialist training will be provided as required.
