Based within commutable distance of Harrogate HQ

Our client, a market leader in Passive Fire Protection, is seeking a dynamic and customer-focused Key Account Manager to join their expanding team. This role is not about hard selling—it's about building long-term relationships, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish.

You will be the main point of contact for a portfolio of high-profile clients, working closely with them to understand their needs, provide solutions, and maintain strong, positive relationships. The role will involve regular nationwide travel, so flexibility and willingness to be on the road is essential, with the advantage of being based near the company's head office in Harrogate.

Key Responsibilities:

Act as the primary liaison for key clients, ensuring excellent communication and service at all times.

Attend client meetings across the UK—both face-to-face and virtually—to provide updates, resolve issues, and explore opportunities.

Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest quality.

*

Maintain oversight of multiple ongoing projects, ensuring all client expectations are met or exceeded.

*

Proactively identify opportunities to add value and strengthen client partnerships.

About You:

*

Strong background in account management, client services, or similar roles—ideally within construction, compliance, or consultancy.

*

Exceptional communication skills, confident engaging with senior stakeholders.

*

Highly organised, able to juggle multiple accounts and deadlines with ease.

*

Proactive, self-motivated, and passionate about delivering outstanding customer service.

*

Comfortable with frequent UK-wide travel and occasional overnight stays.
