Electrical Maintenance Engineer - 4‑Day Week (No Weekends)

£44,000 + Excellent Benefits | Pontefract (commutable from Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster, Castleford)

We're recruiting an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our automated manufacturing operation, working a 4‑day week with no weekends.

The Role

* Electrical maintenance on fast‑paced automated lines

* Fault finding on motors, drives, sensors & control panels

* Supporting breakdowns + PPM (60/40 split)

* Contributing to CI and engineering projects

* Supporting installations and commissioning

* Mentoring apprentices/Technical Operators

* Working closely with Production, QA and Engineering teams

Shift Pattern - 4‑Day Week (No Weekends)

Rotating Mon-Thu / Tue-Fri
Shifts include 6am-4pm, 5am-3pm, 2pm-12am
Every other week = 4 days off

What You'll Need

* ONC/HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)

* Experience in high‑speed manufacturing

* Strong electrical fault‑finding & diagnostics skills

* Experience with motors, drives, sensors, panels

* Positive, solutions‑focused, team‑oriented mindset

Bonus: PLC familiarity (Siemens/Allen Bradley), packaging automation experience.
