We are currently looking for a Document Controller, Design and Operations Assistant to join our talented team in Reading and play a key role in the improvement of our internal processes.

The Role As a Document Controller, Design and Operations Assistant, you will play a critical role within our operations, improving Contract Design Managers’ ability to deliver projects and supporting the Operations Team with projects and workflow, document control and reporting.
Assisting Contract Design Managers, you will ensure they have the correct information and the end product they deliver is high quality, on or below budget and satisfies the customers.
You will help to produce correct and accurate drawings and schedules to support procurement, production and logistics activities and ensure all documentation is up to date.
Incorporating document control, logistics planning, procurement/manufacturing schedules, project budgets and cost plans and project procurement, your role will be varied and engaging, allowing you to develop and grow professionally.
About You To be considered as a Document Controller, Design and Operations Assistant, you will need: - At least two years’ experience in similar construction operational or design assistant roles, ideally with a balcony or façade company - Good knowledge of, and skills with, MS Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Project and Visio - A BTEC, A Levels or equivalent qualification(s) AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks or Solid Edge CAD experience would be beneficial to your application.
Document control experience would also be advantageous.
