Warehouse Operations Manager – Multi-Warehouses - One Site, High-Volume Environment

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operations Manager to lead a high-volume, multi-warehouse operation handling national deliveries, multiple shift patterns and fast-moving stock.   This role is ideal for an experienced warehouse professional who excels in people management, operational control, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead all warehouse, goods-in, pick/pack, replenishment and despatch operations
• Manage multiple warehouses on one site and oversee multi-shift teams
• Ensure accurate, on-time despatch and high-quality order fulfilment
• Drive improvements in pick accuracy, throughput, labour efficiency and cost per pick
• Manage courier and transport performance
• Optimise warehouse layout, space utilisation and stock flow
• Lead Team Leaders and develop a high-performance culture
• Ensure safety compliance, training and operational standards
• Deliver continuous-improvement projects supported by data and ROI

Skills & Experience

• Proven experience managing large, fast-paced warehouse operations
• Strong people-management and leadership skills
• Experience with courier/fleet operations and warehouse flow
• ERP/WMS experience 
• Strong understanding of labour productivity, capacity planning and cost control
• Lean/CI experience is desirable
• Strong communication, problem-solving and decision-making skills

Salary & Benefits

• £45,000 - £50,000 DOE
