We are seeking a detail-driven Accounts Payable Clerk to join a busy finance team in Holywell. This role is ideal for someone experienced in transactional finance who can work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. You'll be responsible for processing 50-70 invoices per day and ensuring supplier payments are accurate and on time.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing 50-70 invoices daily
- Matching, batching and coding invoices
- Reconciling supplier statements and resolving discrepancies
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and handling queries
- Preparing payment runs
- Supporting month-end tasks including accruals and reporting
- Maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring policy compliance
- Building strong internal and external relationships
What We're Looking For
- Previous Accounts Payable / Purchase Ledger experience
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Ability to manage high volumes and meet deadlines
- Confident communicator with a proactive approach
- Good Excel skills and experience with finance systems
