- Where you'll work
- Jubilee House is a welcoming care home located just off Godalming High Street in Surrey.
We provide personalised residential, nursing and respite care for older people, and our team has specialist expertise in supporting individuals who have Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia.
When a new resident joins us, we find out as much as we can about their lifetime experiences, interests, likes and dislikes. We use what we learn to create individual ‘life history boxes’, which help to trigger memories and provide comfort for residents who have dementia.
Everyone in the Jubilee House team is very open and approachable. We all share the aim of helping residents to stay as independent as possible and we offer choices at all times. Many residents play an important part in the day-to-day life of the home, for example by helping out with housework, maintaining the garden or by looking after our pets.
Care UK is committed to ensuring that it employs people with the right mix of talent, skills and potential and will assess every applicant fairly regardless of race, gender, religion, sexual orientation, responsibilities for dependents, age, physical/mental disability or offending background. Having a criminal record will not necessarily prevent you from working with us, it will depend on the nature of the role and background of any offence.
