Assistant Quantity Surveyor

Annual Salary: Up to £45,000

We are looking for an Assistant QS who is eager to learn and grow within the company, helping to oversee financial and contractual management of projects.

Day-to-day of the role:

Support in preparing timely and accurate payment applications, ensuring they reflect the work completed.
Collaborate with the commercial team to resolve any contractual issues and respond to related correspondence.
Assist in managing financial aspects of contracts, including prompt payment follow-ups and managing outstanding debts.
Regularly engage with clients to strengthen relationships and enhance service quality through strategic improvements to operational systems.
Engage in ongoing training with the goal of advancing to a Quantity Surveyor role, enhancing your knowledge and skills in the field.
Uphold personal responsibility for safety, health, and environmental standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:

Basic understanding of electrical contracting and the specific needs of temporary site services.
Interest in mastering the details of contract and sub-contract management.
Capability to assist in financial management and cost control of projects.
Strong interpersonal skills for effective client interactions and team collaboration.
Motivated to undertake continuous professional development aimed at career progression.
