Salary:

£12.21/hour (Weekdays)

£18.32/hour (Saturdays)

£24.42/hour (Sundays)

Impact Recruitment is proud to be recruiting on behalf of a well-established manufacturing company based in Northampton. We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically adept Process Technician to join their growing team. This role is ideally suited to individuals with experience in chemical handling, precision work, and process-based environments.

This hands-on role involves a combination of technical process control, quality assurance, and practical application - perfect for professionals who take pride in maintaining high production standards.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday: Minimum of 5 hours per day between 12pm - 5pm

Optional early start from 7am for those seeking additional hours

Regular overtime available, including most Saturdays and up to 1-2 Sundays per month

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct precise handling and application of products, including the safe use of chemicals in accordance with COSHH regulations
Perform visual and technical inspections of components before and after processing
Accurately apply and remove masking materials in line with technical specifications
Operate handheld tools and spray guns (prior experience preferred)
Maintain comprehensive records of processes, inspections, and production data
Undertake basic maintenance of tools and equipment
Ensure safe manual handling techniques when dealing with delicate or sensitive components
Collaborate with team members to maximise efficiency and workflow
Adhere to strict health, safety, and cleanliness protocols at all times

Candidate Requirements:

Experience or training in working safely with chemicals (COSHH) is highly desirable
First Aid certification is advantageous
Knowledge of manual handling safety practices
Proven experience in quality control and detail-focused production work
Previous use of spray guns or precision dispensing tools beneficial
Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Please note: Due to the nature of the contracts held by our client, successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS Check prior to commencement.
