Our client is seeking an experienced and highly motivatedAssociate with expertise in Clinical Negligence to join its Healthcare Team to represent Defendants, primarily acting for Private Insurers. You will manage a diverse portfolio of clinical negligence cases, providing high-quality legal advice and representation to our clients.The Role

• Manage a diverse caseload of high-value defendant clinical negligence claims from inception to resolution
• Provide expert legal advice to insurer clients
• Draft, review and negotiate key legal documents including pleadings, witness statements and correspondence
• Conduct detailed legal research and analysis to support case strategy
• Liaise with clients, medical professionals and expert witnesses
• Attend court hearings, mediations and settlement negotiations
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files
• Collaborate with colleagues across the Healthcare Team
• Identify and support business development opportunities
• Deliver excellent client care at all times

About You

• Qualified solicitor with 3+ years PQE in Clinical Negligence
• Essential: Experience handling complex defendant clinical negligence cases for insurer clients
• Strong drafting, negotiation and advocacy skills
• Proven ability to manage a high-volume caseload effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in legal research tools and case management systems
• Professional, organised and detail-oriented approach
