Purchase Ledger Clerk

JOB TYPE: PermanentPart Time

SALARY: £10.00 per hour

Calder Recruitment are currently seeking to recruit a part time experienced purchase ledger clerk to take full responsibility of the purchase ledger function including some credit control duties

Reporting to the Accounts department manager, duties include: -

Processing & checking supplier overhead invoices and enter on to Sage
Entering credit card receipts on to Sage
Manage weekly and monthly supplier payments
Monthly Reconciliation of supplier statements to Sage
Liaising with suppliers with any queries
Reconciliation of the Purchase Ledger accounts at the end of each month
Administrative Duties
Ongoing system and process improvements, to enhance reporting and improve efficiencies
Booking in stock against PO’s raised in Sage in a timely manner
Raising and chasing invoice queries
Reconciliation of invoices

Other attributes : -

Experience of Sage 50 Accounts Professional required
Sound IT skills, particularly MS Excel
Clear communication style, with a confident approach
