Job Title: Commercial Manager

Responsible to: Commercial Director

Purpose of the Position

To provide liaison and administration support to the Commercial Director.

Responsibilities (duties include but not limited to):

* Working closely with the construction, procurement and estimating functions.

* Preparing tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the client.

* Provide commercial advice as required including input into tendering and contract reviews.

* Assisting in establishing the client's requirements.

* Undertaking and controlling costs on individual projects.

* Providing cash flow forecasts on an individual project basis and for the business as a whole.

* Discussing project variations with the Contracts team and valuing accordingly.

* Maintaining awareness of the different building contracts in current use.

* Identifying, analysing and developing responses to commercial risks.

* Valuing completed work and arranging payments.

* Producing invoices and applications for payment, submitting to the client.

* Management of dispute resolution in a timely manner.

* Ensuring overdue debts are swiftly collected and resolved.

£45,000 - £50,000 basic
