Our client based in Aberdeen are looking for HGV Driver (Class1 C+E) to join their team on a staff basis.

Responsibilities

* You should hold an HGV 1/C+E Licence.

* Hold a current valid Driver Qualifications Card & Drivers Tachograph Card.

* No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions

* Understand and be able to comply with Driver's hours and Working Time Directive legislation.

* Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety standards and to report defects in line with current guidelines.

* Should comply with company and on-site health and safety requirements.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Wear company supplied PPE.

Qualifications

* Fluent in both spoken and written English

* Forklift ticket is preferred but not essential

* CPCS/NPORS Slinger/Signaller ticket is preferred but not essential

* Good organisational skills

* Good understanding of correct load securing procedures
