HB Partners are working with a thriving academy school in the Watford area to recruit an experienced Management Accountant to take ownership of their finance function.

What you’ll be doing:

· Producing monthly management accounts and financial reports

· Working with budget holders to review their budgets / spend

· Managing payroll reconciliations, purchase orders, invoicing, and payments

· Leading on audits, VAT returns, and year-end accounts

· Overseeing and developing the finance team

What we’re looking for:

· Qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with experience of working in a schools / education environment

· Strong background in management accounting and financial control

· Confident communicator with excellent attention to detail
