Management Accountant / On boarding Accountant

The Opportunity

A high-growth, PE-backed healthcare platform is looking to expand its finance team with a skilled Management Accountant. The role is a key part of the finance function, supporting both day-to-day accounting and reporting, as well as providing insight to drive operational and strategic decision-making.

This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive finance professional to join a dynamic, fast-moving business, contribute to financial processes across multiple sites, and gain exposure to a high-growth, PE-backed healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain monthly management accounts, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Work closely with operational teams to provide financial insight and guidance
• Assist with cash flow management and working capital reporting
• Support acquisition integration and reporting activities
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies
• Prepare ad hoc financial analysis for the CFO and leadership team

Candidate Profile

Essential:

• ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified (or equivalent)
• Strong management accounting experience within multisite or healthcare businesses
• Experience producing management accounts, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Strong Excel and financial systems skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a fast-moving PE-backed environment

Desirable:

• Exposure to M&A / acquisition accounting
• Experience in healthcare or multi-site operations
• Understanding of PE reporting requirements
