Our client is a specialist in bespoke joinery, delivering high-quality craftsmanship and they are seeking an experienced Draughtsman to join their team.

As a Draughtsman, you will be responsible for producing accurate technical drawings and detailed joinery shop drawings for a variety of construction and fit-out projects. You will collaborate closely with project managers, site teams, and the workshop to ensure the seamless translation of design concepts into manufacturing-ready documents.

Key Responsibilities:

* Creating detailed 2D and 3D drawings for bespoke joinery components including cabinetry, doors, wall panelling

* Interpreting architectural and interior design plans to produce joinery shop drawings in line with project requirements.

* Liaise with the design team, project managers, and workshop personnel to ensure drawings meet practical and technical standards.

* Modifying and revise drawings in response to feedback or site conditions.

* Maintaining drawing registers and ensure drawings are submitted and updated in line with project timelines.

* Conducting site surveys as needed to capture accurate dimensions and information.

* Ensuring all drawings comply with relevant building codes, safety standards, and company specifications.

* Leading the team ensuring everyone is on top of their work and that it is being done correctly.

Requirements:

* Proven experience as a Draughtsman in the construction or joinery industry.

* Proficiency in AutoCAD (essential), SketchUp, and other design software (e.g., Revit or SolidWorks is a plus).

* Strong understanding of materials, joinery techniques, and construction processes.

* Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical drawings.

* High attention to detail and a practical mindset.

* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

* Relevant qualification in Drafting, Engineering, or a related field (desirable).
