Freelance Quantity Surveyor - Refurb & Restoration
Central London (Office near Charing Cross + Site visits)

The Role:
Experienced, hands-on Quantity Surveyor required to support a well-established contractor specialising in high-end refurbishment and heritage restoration. This long-term freelance role, which consists of visiting sites, measuring works, pricing against agreed schedules, and submitting monthly valuations. The Projects:
A mix of Section 20 major works and commercial refurbishments (£150k-£3m typical contract value)
Ongoing works include: Mayfair façade restorations, Paddington Station upgrades, and a long-term package at The Savoy

Must-Have:
•Background in quantity surveying - ideally with a main contractor or specialist refurb outfit
•Experience pricing from schedules, and producing clear, defendable valuations
•Understanding of listed buildings and heritage trades is a bonus (but not a deal-breaker)

This role could also be referred to as Quantity Surveyor, Freelance Quantity Surveyor, Project Quantity Surveyor, Senior QS, Commercial Manager, Cost Manager, or Construction QS.
