About the Role:

Support the preparation and delivery of science lessons tailored for students with autism and additional learning needs.
Set up and maintain equipment and materials for practical lessons across biology, chemistry, and physics.
Assist teachers with classroom demonstrations and provide technical support during lessons.
Ensure a safe and inclusive learning environment by maintaining equipment, managing stock, and adhering to health and safety protocols.
Work closely with teaching staff, SEN professionals, and therapists to adapt activities to meet individual student needs.
Take an active role in science enrichment activities such as science club, competitions, and project weeks.

Previous experience working as a Science Technician or in a lab-based role (school or industry).
A strong understanding of health and safety in a lab setting.

Organised, proactive, and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
Science-related qualifications or relevant training preferred.

What We Offer:

A welcoming and supportive school community with a strong commitment to inclusive education.
Opportunities for ongoing CPD and training in SEN strategies and behaviour support.
