Fraser Carver Recruitment are working with a small but growing Financial Services business on the outskirts of Bristol who are looking to hire a Commercial Accountant/ Finance Business Partner to support the Chief Financial Officer with commercial/ analytical finance.

This is a newly created role and as such will be very hands on to start with, with a view to developing into a more strategic role over time. This would suit a Newly Qualified Accountant or someone with a couple of years PQE who is looking for the next step in their career.

Duties will include:

• Reporting & Analysis for one of the key divisions of the organisation
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Working with non finance business heads
• Commercial support across product pricing, commercial terms etc
• Supporting strategic planning with data driven insights
• Some regulatory/ compliance input aligned with FCA requirements
• Financial Modelling/ development of finance systems etc

Ideally we are looking for someone with Financial Services/ Insurance experience however we would also consider applicants from FMCG, Retail or Service sectors too.

This is a hybrid role, initially spending c.3 days a week in the office for the first few months, potentially reducing down to 2 thereafter.
