Our client, a leading manufacturer of mechanical components is seeking a talented and motivated Applications Engineer to join their growing team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an engineer with some experience to further develop their skills and grow into a design role.
$60,000- $75,000 per year
Position is Direct Hire in Suwanee, GA
Mon-Fri 7:00am- 4:00pm
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and determine engineering modifications to meet customer requirements
- Collaborate with the engineering team on product improvements
- Provide technical support to customers via phone, email, and on-site visits
- Assist in preparing proposals and quotations
- Support product testing and development efforts
- Troubleshoot and resolve production-related issues
- Recommend and implement process improvements
- Ensure compliance with quality standards and approved methods
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Industrial, or Electrical preferred)
- 1-3 years of manufacturing and/or technical support experience required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication abilities in English (both written and verbal)
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
