About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and qualified Lift Engineer (NVQ Level 3 minimum) to join a well-established maintenance and repair team operating across multiple regional routes. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out a full range of maintenance, breakdown, repair and call-out duties across a portfolio of passenger and goods lifts.

You'll be part of a professional engineering division known for reliability, customer service, and technical excellence — ensuring lifts remain compliant, safe and fully operational at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Routine maintenance, fault finding, and repair of passenger and goods lifts.

Attending reactive call-outs and completing remedial works efficiently.

*

Conducting safety checks, ensuring all lifts meet statutory and company standards.

*

Working on both modern and legacy lift systems (hydraulic and traction).

Completing accurate service reports and communicating effectively with clients and planners.

*

Participating in night call rota, overtime and weekend work as required.

*

Ensuring van stock, tools and PPE are maintained to company standards.

Requirements

NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent (essential).

*

Proven experience in lift service, repair and maintenance.

*

Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills.

*

Full UK driving licence.

*

Flexible approach to working hours and travel across the designated route.
